It’s Halloween and I Have Questions

I understand it’s Halloween and people we do not know will be coming to our door for treats. Nova explained this much to me.

I have questions. Do you think Mom is giving away our treats? This is so not okay. Nova says if I pretend to dress up as a cat, Mom will give me treats. Is this a real thing? Is this what trick or treat means? Trick Mom into thinking it’s not me and get treats?

Is Nova really sneaking out to a Halloween party? Should I tell Mom on him?

I have so many questions. Should I hide the treats with my silk hair tie collection?

I will be monitoring this situation closely.
